Welcome to Zakros Brain — a research tool designed to help transliterate and interpret the ancient Linear A script.
Choose your approach and enter your glyph sequence below. You may input sequences using Unicode characters or English transliteration.
The Linear A Grammatical Schema (LAGS) is an interpretive framework developed to bring structure to the largely undeciphered Linear A script. It uses known phonetic values combined with hypothesised grammatical connectors and suffix patterns to reconstruct probable phrases and meanings.
This schema attempts to identify likely prefixes, suffixes, and repeated sign groups that may represent locations, offerings, or ritual actions. Interpretations made using LAGS are speculative and presented with caution.
Example:
Input: AB 08 AB 60 (Academic mode) may yield recognized words.
Input: A-DA-MU NA-KA (LAGS mode) suggests a root plus a suffix, e.g. "A-DA-MU" + "NA-KA (possible suffix)".
Ethical Notice: Zakros Brain distinguishes authenticated, speculative, and narrative elements in its outputs.
As the system incorporates new data and learns patterns, interpretations may evolve.
Users are encouraged to approach all outputs with scholarly caution and ethical consideration.
